I’m running for Olmsted County Attorney because I believe everyone deserves to feel safe in our community. I want to bring broad experience, proven leadership, data-informed decisions, and community engagement to this role. It’s time for voter choice!
Real public safety for all, not just the perception of public safety for some. I want everyone, including children, families, immigrant neighbors, and historically marginalized people to feel safe. I want to study and implement innovative and successful public safety initiatives from other jurisdictions to move past the status quo.
Prosecution should be guided by data, not outdated practices. I will prioritize restorative justice programs that address the root causes of crime, reduce recidivism, and produce better outcomes for individuals and our community alike.
The Olmsted County Attorney's office should be transparent, community facing, and trusted by everyone it serves. I will prioritize community engagement and work to restore faith in an office that belongs to all of us.
I am not coming to this office to learn on the job. With 28 years of legal practice, nearly 17 years as a prosecutor in this office, elected experience in my second term on the Rochester School Board, and deep roots in this community, I am ready to lead and collaborate with law enforcement, local leaders, community organizations, and residents from day one.
